The
great Dormer Suite is located up the original winding stairway in the upstairs
bedroom. It overlooks Burgundy Street, which was originally named Rue
Craps (after the game of chance) by Bernard de Marigny. The
bedroom is furnished with an antique half-Tester Louisiana bed, sleeper softantique
desk and chairs, a ceiling fan and
air conditioning.
A
private Victorian styled bathroom with a claw-foot tub adjoins the bedroom.
Both suites share the
kitchen, with a full-size refrigerator and dining space, and a
beautiful landscaped patio.
