Sun Oak provides the opportunity to experience the 20th century renaissance of Creole New Orleans.  Located in Faubourg Marigny, a city historic district on the Nation Register of Historic Places.  It is only a 15-minute walk to Jackson Square and the heart of the French Quarter. Sun Oak is also located ½ block from world famous Frenchman Street, which is home to several 3 and 4-star restaurants, cafes, and music clubs.

The interiors have Greek Revival medallions, moldings, mantels, and millwork that are highlighted by the wide-planked deep red mahogany colored pine flooring. All rooms are furnished with fine French, Creole, Acadian, and mid-French Louisiana antiques.  A delicate winding stairway leads to the Dormer Suite, while the Garden Suite overlooks the lush tropical patios and landscaped gardens. Both suites share the kitchen, with a full-size refrigerator and dining space, and a beautiful landscaped courtyard.  Off street parking for guests is also available.
